Connected Response is delighted to announce it has joined EEA (Energy Efficiency Association) as a national member.
EEA’s mission is to co-ordinate communication and collaboration across the field of energy efficiency. This mirrors Connected Response’s drive to build national awareness and recognition of our HeatSage technology which reduces average energy usage by 30% for households with electric storage heating and hot water. Furthermore, collaboration has been at the heart of Connected Response’s growth since its launch in 2019 and continues to be so. We collaborate with government agencies, research partners, energy suppliers, technology innovators, social housing providers, product manufacturers and more.
Nick Huston is Connected Response’s Head of Business Development:
‘Connected Response is a socially-driven organisation developing leading-edge retrofit technology that can help release the 1.5m households with electric storage heating from the shackles of fuel poverty.
Our retrofit HeatSage technology has already been installed in over 15,000 social housing properties across the United Kingdom, the majority of which are in multi-dwelling units, including tower blocks. On average we reduce tenants’ energy bills by around 30% at the same time as vastly improving their overall heating and hot water experience. HeatSage also measures humidity levels, helping social housing landlords to identify properties that may be at risk of damp, ensuring compliance with Awaab’s Law which came into force on October 27, 2025.
Fuel poverty is not inevitable. The benefits generated by leading-edge technology should be accessible to all, not just middle-class homes with electric vehicles, home batteries and solar panels. Not only does HeatSage significantly reduce energy bills, it also means social landlords and their tenants can benefit financially from electricity flexibility markets.
We are looking forward to being active members of the Energy Efficiency Association, building collaborative relationships with fellow members, and participating in forthcoming EEA Conferences and Awards.’
